It makes sense that she would be great at floral design, because she started with an education in fashion and interior design. She then went on to start her career in visual merchandising where she designed the storefront windows for clothing retail companies.
But then, you know, online shopping made those jobs few and far in-between. Kaytee knew she wanted to change directions her career path.
So she went back to her roots – back to a time where she would plant flowers in her Grandmother’s yard each spring. It’s where her love of flowers bloomed. Sorry, I had to 😉
Thus began Roots Floral Design.
After 4 years, Roots Floral Design has designed over a 100 weddings and events, has been published in print and online, and has even had a wedding shown on national television.
The reason I refer Kaytee with Roots Floral Design so highly is because of her specialization in garden style arrangement.
For her, the best part of being a wedding florist is the endless amount of color and texture combinations that flowers can bring. She loves designing for couples who are in love and who’s flower designs will be a large part of their wedding day.
I ADORE Kaytee’s work, and the way she is able to customize each wedding to be truly unique and special to the couple. With her garden style designs, each arrangement has an organic, adventurous, and romantic shape and aesthetic.
