Catherine and Austin met in college at the Miami University of Ohio in a business law class, and they started out as friends before they started dating. When it came time for the next step, Austin planned a romantic proposal with rose petals and candles in the couple’s new living room just after they bought their house. It was a total surprise to Catherine! They celebrated with their friends and family with cocktails and a food truck that night. Then, they set out to plan a gorgeous Meshewa House wedding, and it was nothing short of amazing!
Their wedding weekend began with a fun rehearsal dinner at Aster in Cincinnati! It was the perfect way to kick off the celebration weekend, and I love that Catherine and Austin chose to have their wedding coverage begin with the rehearsal dinner.
The following day, we reconvened at Meshewa House at Turner Farm for their wedding day! Meshewa House is a stunning historic estate on 230 acres of organic farmland just outside of Cincinnati. This peaceful setting was absolutely perfect for Catherine and Austin’s wedding day. Their ceremony took place on the front lawn of the estate. The bridesmaids wore black gowns, and Catherine wore a classically elegant Danielle Frankel gown. Guests tossed rose petals as the couple exited the ceremony, which was sweet.
Following the outdoor ceremony, the reception took place under a tent nearby. The beautiful black-tie garden party reception featured caviar and lobster and a packed dance floor all night long! It was so precious to see Catherine and Austin cut their cake that displayed Austin’s parents’ cake topper from years ago. Catherine and Austin created a flower bar for their guests to make a bouquet to take home at the end of the evening. It was such a unique touch! Their confetti exit was complete with Catherine’s dad’s vintage getaway car waiting on them. Such a great way to end the night!
I’m so happy to have been a part of Catherine and Austin’s Meshewa House wedding. I wish them both so much love and joy!
