Announcing: Megan Noll Photography

Last night, on Facebook, I announced some seriously HUGE news.

Roselle Photography is getting a total make over…including a new name.

I have had this nagging feeling that I had outgrown the name Roselle Photography for a while, but I felt stuck to it. It would be too hard to build up brand recognition again, right?

I have run into several peers, who have successfully rebranded, including the wonderful Sarah Bradshaw Photography (formerly Ampersand Photography) and I was able to learn that the transition may not be as complicated as I thought. I still wasn’t ready to pull the trigger though.

After a conference I attended recently, the speakers talked a lot about growing, and doing things that scare you. I heard the quote, “If you aren’t doing something that scares you, then you aren’t growing” and that hit me like a ton of bricks. Through that, I realized I was hanging on to the Roselle brand because it was comfortable. I’m being hired, people recognize the name, and I already have good results on Google.

But just because those things were in order, doesn’t mean Roselle fits the person that I have changed into in the last three and a half years. The name “Roselle Photography” doesn’t reflect my love of marriage the way that my married name does. Roselle doesn’t seem personal. Roselle doesn’t convey the level of commitment and effort I give to each of my clients.

Rebranding to Megan Noll Photography is my way of adding my signature to each of my images. It’s my way of making my craft that much more personal. It’s my way of expressing how much I love marriage. It’s my way of bringing my personality back into this job that I love so much.

There are a lot of changes in the upcoming months, and I’m thrilled to be sharing all of this excitement and nervous energy with you! There is a long road ahead, but I am working with an INCREDIBLY talented designer, Ms. Leslie Vega, and I will be sharing any an all updates as they happen!
