Austin Engagement Session

JCrush, or as Tamar explains it, “The Jewish Version of Tinder” is a notoriously terrible app. With endless glitches, and technical issues, it’s a wonder that Nathan popped up on Tamar’s profile. But that wasn’t actually where their story starts. You see, once they had met through JCrush, they were able to recount at least a dozen times before they met where they were at the same party or event, but just never seemed to officially cross paths. Maybe fate just needed push!

Once they began dating, they knew this was something serious, and everything began moving fast! In fact, they decided to move to Austin, Texas together after just 9 months of dating. They wanted a fresh start, and that is exactly what they got in the quirky, taco-loving city of Austin.

It was on a trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand that Nate got down on one knee to ask Tamar to be his wife. The day had been spend at an animal sanctuary, feeding and bathing rescued baby elephant. BABY ELEPHANTS AND DIAMONDS! YOU GUYS! …tell me how that could be any better?!

It was important to Tamar + Nate that their new home of Austin was apart of their story, so I flew down to take their engagement session around the Congress Avenue Bridge! Now, you all KNOW how excited I was for that! Anytime I get to travel and shoot in a new place, my heart just sings. I loved this Austin Engagement Session, but even more so, I loved getting to know and spend time with the couple in the pictures!
