If you’re dreaming of a wedding venue with skyline views, modern elegance, and the perfect romantic vibe, The View in Mount Adams delivers all that and more. And if you’re searching for inspiration for The View wedding receptions, you’re in the right place.
This unforgettable wedding day brought together the joy of sports fans, the style of a former figure skater, and the energy of one of the most social grooms we’ve ever met—all set against the jaw-dropping backdrop of The View’s panoramic Cincinnati skyline.
From the very first look to the final dance, every moment was bursting with personality, style, and love.
I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wedding of two incredible people—let’s call them a true match made in both sports and style. The bride, a former competitive figure skater turned US Figure Skating judge, brought elegance, athletic grace, and a serious love for fashion to her big day. Born and raised in Illinois, now traveling the country for skating events, she’s a true girly-girl with a die-hard heart for the Chicago Cubs.
The groom? The life of the party. A Cincinnati native and unapologetically obsessed Bengals fan (he went to every single playoff game during their Super Bowl run—yes, even the big one!). Outgoing, energetic, and surrounded by more friends than most people meet in a lifetime, his charisma lit up every room that day.
Together, they are electric. They met in 2016 selling Bengals season tickets and quickly became friends—until the bride left for a job with FOX Sports in Chicago. A year later, Jimmy followed her to the Windy City. And the rest? That brought us to this incredible celebration at The View.
Let’s talk about this venue. The View at Mount Adams is one of the premier locations for wedding receptions in Cincinnati—and for good reason. With sweeping city views, modern architecture, and natural light pouring in from every angle, it’s the perfect setting for an elegant-yet-fun event. Whether you’re planning a black-tie soirée or a lively celebration like this one, The View sets the tone perfectly.
The couple chose this space because it reflects them: chic but welcoming, elegant with an edge, and full of energy.
Pulling off a flawless event at The View takes a rockstar team, and this wedding had exactly that.
One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is seeing how couples make the day uniquely theirs. This one had so many unforgettable touches:
Their engagement story might be one of my favorites. On a casual Saturday morning walk to grab smoothies, Jimmy detoured through Oakley Square and dropped to one knee. The surprise? A post-engagement celebration at Goodfella’s in Pleasant Ridge, where the bride expected his family—but was blown away to see her parents and friends from Chicago, too.
(And yes—he did put the ring on the wrong hand at first. But hey, that’s real love.)
If you’re on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue in Cincinnati, it’s hard to beat The View in Mount Adams. The combination of modern design, scenic views, and adaptable space makes it ideal for stylish, personality-filled celebrations like this one.
And with the right vendors by your side—KMC Weddings, The Budding Florist, and Oakley & Hyde, to name a few—your day at The View will be nothing short of unforgettable.
I’d love to help you capture it. As a Cincinnati wedding photographer who’s shot at The View wedding receptions, I know the best spots for portraits, how to work with the light, and how to make sure every moment feels effortless.
