Start of the New Year

Starting The New Year

Last year, my New Year’s resolution was to blog more. Honestly, I’m really proud of how well I stuck to that. I made it to October, blogging weekly (better than I can say for the diet I was going to start 😉 ). From advice for my brides, to information for aspiring photographers, it has been fun having a place to share thoughts.

I’m continuing that resolution into 2016, and adding a few more to that list. I heard somewhere that goals that are written down are some high percentage more likely to come true than ones that are just thought about. Consider this my list.

Business:

– Blog weekly
– Shoot a destination wedding
– Book 20 weddings
– Get more work published
– Volunteer more

Personal:

– Have this baby…like..now.
– Be more positive
– Call a friend at least once a week
– Check my phone less
– And, the doozy…the mother of all resolutions – Get back into a healthy routine.

These are just mine. Nothing novel, nothing out of the ordinary, but I’m hoping in sharing these, I will hold myself more responsible.

Do you have a resolution or two (or in my case….10)? Share it below in a comment! We can revisit them in a year and see how we did!

  1. Eden McDaniel says:

    1) No ice cream *gasp*/no candies (i.e. snickers, rolos, sour patch kids etc)
    2) No French Fries 🙁
    3) Reduced sugar intake overall
    4) Spread more love *vague, but achievable* ;]
