Something you may not know about me, I’m a total travel junkie. Many times, when I need a break from work, I don’t seek distraction from Facebook or Netflix, but rather Expedia. I plan fictional vacations, and dream about the “what if’s” and “one day’s”.

About once a year….*hem* month, I tell Brian, “Let’s just do it – Let’s just pick up and go!” He, being the ever logical of the two of us, usually has to keep me grounded for the sake of our jobs and bank accounts. He patiently listens to me carry on about wanting to see the world, and (thankfully), brings a more sensible action into plan.

This is how our trip to Asia started. I had been eyeing a cruises and found one that started in Singapore, and traveled to Malaysia and Thailand. When I saw they were running an awesome deal on it, I brought it to Brian.

Much like a kid trying to convince her parents to let her keep the stray kitten she found, I told him about my idea’s to make it work, and how it was such a good deal, we couldn’t pass it up. To my surprise, he was totally into it!

China – The time change had us up bright and early, so we went to The Great Wall at Sunrise!

Singapore: We were shocked at how different Singapore and Malaysia were from what we expected!
