This stunning Greenacres wedding in Cincinnati was nothing short of amazing! Alyssa and Robbie’s outdoor wedding ceremony and elegant tented reception were an honor to capture. Have a peek at more of their Greenacres wedding below!
Alyssa and Robbie first met while in college at the University of Kentucky. With just thirty days until graduation, it’s safe to say their meeting was fate!
When it came time for the proposal, Alyssa and Robbie were living in Center City of Philadelphia. Their Saturday morning ritual has always been grabbing a coffee and taking a stroll around the neighborhood. It was the first nice Saturday in April, so they went for their typical stroll and ended up at the art museum. Robbie got down on one knee on a private trail behind the museum, just the two of them! Alyssa describes it as her “favorite moment ever” and loves that they had the day to tell their friends and family and that they were able to go out to a nice dinner just the two of them. The following weekend, their families came into town to celebrate their engagement.
It was a beautiful September day for Alyssa and Robbie’s outdoor wedding ceremony and reception at Greenacres Arts Center! Formerly known as the historic Fleischmann Estate, Greenacres is a sprawling property that makes for a gorgeous wedding backdrop. At the focal point is the English Norman-style manor fit with every amenity you’d need for a wedding, like a commercial kitchen and full liquor license. The formal gardens make for the perfect outdoor wedding ceremony space, and the grand tent is ideal for elegant wedding receptions.
Alyssa got ready in the House with the help of her mother, sister, and bridesmaids. She wore a jaw-dropping Anne Barge wedding gown with her hair in a sleek updo. Her bridesmaids wore champagne-colored Jenny Yoo bridesmaids’ dresses.
One of Alyssa and Robbie’s most anticipated moments on their wedding day was their first look! They were excited to spend time together before the ceremony. Seeing their reactions to each other was so special!
When it came time for their outdoor ceremony, guests were seated in the formal gardens. Alyssa and Robbie were married in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony as their friends and family looked on.
After the ceremony, guests headed to the remarkable reception tent. When planning her wedding, Alyssa envisioned a timeless and elegant reception filled with all-white floral arrangements and pops of soft metallics like creamy silver and pale gold throughout the decor. Viva Bella Events helped bring her vision to life with the spectacular reception tent design.
After their grand entrance, the couple surprised their guests—including their families and wedding party—with a choreographed first dance! It was a huge hit with their loved ones and they did a fabulous job on the dance floor.
After the dinner and toasts, Downtown Band kicked the reception up a notch and got all of the guests out onto the dancefloor for a night of fun. After a quick outfit change for Alyssa, the couple was ready to dance the night away with their beloved friends and family.
