Moon Palace Cancun Wedding
Hanna gently tapped her groom’s shoulder for him to turn around. Riz had been his usual silly self as he danced toward Hanna. But now, he was there and seeing his breathtaking bride for the first time. Tears welled in his eyes as a wide grin spread across his face. They pulled each other into a tight embrace and breathed the moment in. Now, that is a way to start a wedding day.
Every time I post anything about Hanna and Ryan (or Riz), I have several more messages from friends, exclaiming that they know the couple too! If you’ve spent anytime around the two of them, it’s no shock that they are so well known. They are so easy to get along with, and they make new acquaintances feel like old friends. They are light-hearted, playful, and have dance moves to remember.
Seventy of Hanna + Riz’s closest family and friends traveled to their Moon Palace Cancun Wedding to take part in the festivities of the weekend. As Hanna’s step-mom Mary put it, “We all came as strangers and left as family.” I think that is not only telling of how welcoming Hanna and Riz are, but also a testament to their families as well!
When Hanna first told me about their plans for a Moon Palace Cancun Wedding, I had a vision in my head of what I expected: A gorgeous bride and groom, a soft sunset with a gentle breeze. My eyes turned into hearts for a second – cartoon style. What I pictured in my mind was beautiful, but my idea didn’t even compare to the beauty of the actual day. It was a rare instance where reality was better than an idea.
Hanna was a vision of grace and elegance in her Champagne-colored dress. She was accompanied by a group of the sweetest bridesmaids some of the most perfect mis-matched dresses you’d ever want to see. The groomsmen completed the look with blue suits and a great sense of humor.
Heartfelt speeches by those closest in their lives left the guests misty eyed. This was especially true when the best man, Rich, read an endearing letter of well wishes for the bride and groom from Ryan’s parents. They were unable to make the wedding, but their presence was certainly felt.
And for the record, I can get along with any one who is punny enough to include a gift to the guests that says “Lutz fiesta like there’s no mañana” on it.
Now, I’ll quit gushing and let you get to the Moon Palace Cancun Wedding pictures! ENJOY!
