I’m Back | Wedding Blog

Posted in: For Clients

I love writing in my wedding blog.

For me, it means helping couples answer questions about planning their wedding, about how to get the best pictures, and about things that will just keep them less stressed.

I love blogging for photographers. I love talking about things I have learned, the things I wish I didn’t have to learn the hard way, and the things that have helped me grow.

In the last year, you might have noticed that I haven’t been writing wedding blogs.

I have been really open about my anxiety struggles, and unfortunately, the joy I felt from educating has been outweighed by my anxious thoughts.

Will it offend someone or will they take it the wrong way?
Do I sound like I think I know everything?

To answer those questions: I know I have and I know I will. We are living in a time where you can’t say the sky is blue without someone screaming back “BUT BEFORE SUNSET IT IS PINK!”. I have decided to look past all the chatter and anxiety, and do what I love.

Weddings and writing these little bits of wedding advice are my passion.

Helping couples have less stressful weddings and helping photographers grow is what I love doing.

So, I’ve decided I’m not going to let anxiety, or other people, impact the way I write. If you are reading my wedding blog, I hope that you’ll read them with indulgence. I hope that you’ll read them, knowing and believing my intentions are pure. And with that, I’d like to say….

I’m BACK!

You show the beauty of your clients and yourself through the lens of your cameras and the stories you write. We will never please everyone we come in contact with but we cannot allow them to prevent us from making this world a better place! You are an incredible woman and you give everyone 110% of YOU! Your smile lightens up a room and your laugh is contagious! Continue to walk your journey your way! You have so many people supporting and loving you! Trust in you, those who support you and most importantly in God’s blessings upon you!

  3. Amanda says:

Girl, you could write a blog post about why I should wear a bright blue dress on my wedding day and I would be like, YES!! You write with such passion and clarity. All of your blogposts have been so helpful as I’m preparing for my own wedding. Everyone has their own opinions- you are writing your opinion after years of professional experience, so I’ll listen to yours Hahahaha ????
