The Olympics

I know I’m not the only one with my TV on for 15 hours a day, right?

It’s the the Olympics – My FAVORITE.

I love The Olympics because it’s a chance to get excited to celebrate oft ignored sports, and I’m all about anything that unites us as a country.

I get to rave about how star-spangled awesome we are in the sports we dominate, while convincing myself the sports we don’t dominate aren’t important anyway.

I squeeze Brian’s hand a little to tight when the race finishes close, and let a cheer escape when we win.

I like to guess which athletes I’d be friends with (Nathan Adrian and Maya Dirado – Call me! We’d be besties).
