Hanna and Ryan, or “Riz” as he is known by those closest to him, are a pair full of playful energy, and brimming with love for each other.
Their start, however, was an unusual one. Hanna and her mother work out at the same gym. Her mom told her about these handsome guys that worked out a bit later than Hanna’s normal routine, and her mom encouraged her to hit the gym an hour later to meet these cute guys. Hanna’s mom must know her well, because when Hanna realized that her mom was talking about Riz, she realized she had already met him at a Xavier basketball game!
After that Xavier game, they found themselves running into each other all the time – from Red’s games, to the gym, and even at Bengal’s games. Riz realized fate was trying to tell him something, after running into her at a Bengal’s game, he finally asked Hanna to dinner that night! The rest in history!
On their first date, he took her to an elegant Italian restaurant that overlooks the Cincinnati skyline from Incline District, called Prima Vista. Riz took Hanna back to Prima Vista for dinner 4 years later. After dinner, they when outside to take in the view from the Incline District, and there, with the city lights in the background, Riz asked Hanna to marry him.
Riz grew up in Price Hill, near the Incline District, so I loved that we were able to incorporate that into their engagement session. We made sure to stop at Mount Echo Park, too!
They are planning their February wedding for Cancun, Mexico! I didn’t think I could be anymore excited for their wedding, but after this Incline District Engagement session, and seeing what a sweet couple they are, I absolutely am.
February, please hurry! 🙂
