Kelly and Kyle were in the same kindergarten class, but wasn’t until they were sixteen they really realized this friendship might be something more.
They were at a party in their friend’s basement. Kelly wasn’t very interested in the games they were playing, and decided on a movie instead. Kyle noticed her sitting alone, and decided to be her company. Kelly laughs that, thankfully, she hasn’t been able to shake him since then.
When Kelly mentioned a New York City engagement session, I think my heart stopped. Once we started figuring out details, we decided on a Central Park engagement session. Central Park is only two blocks from their gorgeous apartment and it is where they take their sweet puppy, Lucy, to play.
Right before I began booking things, I called my sister / second shooter, Alli, to tell her that I would be shooting a Central Park engagement session. She was so excited that she tagged along, and we made a weekend out of it!
Kelly and Kyle’s apartment in New York City has a wine bar in it. We ended their Central Park Engagement session there, and enjoyed a few drinks together. It was so great getting to know the two of them better, hear about wedding plans, and trade silly stories.
Any session that ends with sharing a bottle of wine, is a session done right. Throw in a beautiful day at Central Park, funny, kind, and successful couple, and plans for an AMAZING October wedding, and you have a recipe for stealing my heart out of my chest.
Thank you for stopping by to view Kelly and Kyle’s Central Park Engagement session!
