I’m sitting at my computer – typing, erasing, typing, erasing.
I have to be honest, blogging doesn’t always (or ever) come easy to me. Most of the time, ideas come easily, but I have trouble articulating, or just making a complete thought. Even with the frustration of combing through my words, blogging has become one of my favorite parts of my job. I love sharing anything I can that will help my clients, and other photographers.
I have been trying to challenge myself to write more personally – the way you would talk to a friend. I think all the years of learning to write formally in school took it’s toll on my personality skills through text, but I digress. I started with this last Friday, when I blogged about my struggle with anxiety, and there was something really wonderful (and terrifying) about it.
I wanted to drop a little line to let you know that I am adding a blog day to my regular blogging week, and switching it up a little!
Mash Up Monday will be a mash up of business posts and advice for weddings!
Wednesdays are changing up! Instead of Wedding Wednesday, I’m going to do “Write It Out Wednesday”, where I blog personally. I have a feeling that more often than not, it will be ramblings and I know it will be a challenge for me, but I am really excited about it!
“Photography Friday” will be the new “Wedding Wednesday”. I was realizing that 4 days after a wedding was too early for me to have the blog done, and I didn’t want to wait a week and 4 days to publish a blog if it was done! So now, blog previews will be on Fridays!
Also, I’m going to be doing a Vendor Spotlight series! I’m so excited to share with a few of the most talented people in the Cincinnati Wedding Industry! The first piece goes live on July 25th! GET EXCITED! 🙂
Can’t wait for you to follow along! 🙂
