Dear Bride + Groom | Megan Noll Photography

Dear Bride + Groom,

I know you just got home from your honeymoon, and are reeling from how perfect your wedding day was. I loved being your wedding photographer, and I can’t wait to keep up with you and see where marriage takes you both.

I hate to do this but I have to ask a favor.

This may sound selfish, so I want to give you some back story. I still get jittery and excited about my weddings, even after shooting more than one hundred weddings as the lead wedding photographer.

The excitement was there with me through the whole prep process: as I charged batteries, loaded memory cards, and organized my gear. It was with me when I shot, carefully curating the story of your wedding day. It was with me as I edited each individual picture. The nerves and excitement are there, because I strive to give each step all of me.

Honestly, I don’t think being jittery about your wedding is a bad thing. To me, my jitters are evidence that the honor of capturing your wedding day is not lost on me. It reminds me that your wedding is unique and different, and that the work I am producing will be how you will teach your future generations about family, about love, and about legacy.

When I sent you the link to your gallery, I held my breath. I want you to love them. I want you to know how much care I took with each image. I want you to remember your experience with me in fondness.

I know you are so busy. Maybe you are swept up in opening gifts, or moving in together for the first time. Maybe you are drowning in writing thank you cards, or are just enjoying soaking up the fact that you are now married to your best friend. It’s easy to do – Believe me.

That is why I want to keep my favor simple: I want to hear from you.

It means the world to me to hear from you after the wedding day.

Your message doesn’t have to be anything elaborate or thoughtful. If you love them, a simple “EEEK <3” will make my day.

Thankfully, I have never had a client not like their images, but if that day comes, I would want to know that too.

I put my heart into this, and it gives me the warm fuzzies to know that you love your pictures as much as I do.

Thank you so much for choosing me to be apart of your wedding day, and I can’t wait to hear from you!

Love,

Me
